EMDR &
Trauma Processing
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a sought after and effective treatment for PTSD. Even if you don’t have PTSD but are struggling to come back from traumatic experiences, EMDR can be very helpful.
It’s excellent for lowering symptoms like nightmares, anxiety, being on guard, dissociating, and feeling like you’re stuck in a loop with painful parts of the past.
This is a good one to try if you’ve talked many times about what’s happened and it seems like you understand it all but still don’t feel better.
I love doing EMDR with people because we witness your system find its unique ways through dilemmas to help them finally settle. Your own potency gets returned to you and you can more fully land in your own life.
I am also trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE) protocols for PTSD and trauma. Feel free to contact me if you want to hear more about any of these treatments.
